Wycliffe Hall is a characterful Victorian building, a theological college in an excellent quiet location near the University Parks, about 10 minutes walk from the historic centre of the city. There are only a few guest rooms; the standard single room was basic student-style accommodation but quite comfortable and felt secure (easy improvements would be an extra pillow, spare blanket and bedside lamp). Breakfast is self self service with nice croissants and porridge when I was there.

The room was cold and not very nice, there were water stains on the ceiling, the chair and desk were sticky, and the bed was so creaky. I could hardly get any shut-eye. The shared bathroom was extremely cold and always wet. There is a sign that says it is regularly cleaned, but I didn’t notice any cleaning. The breakfast was basic, but delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and the lady receiving and seeing us out was so incredibly nice. Big kudos to her.

Extremely friendly welcome from everyone we encountered. Clean rooms, a safe, quiet and ridiculously central location, with a basic but good breakfast (stay on a Friday and it's a cooked as well as continental breakfast!). The shared bathroom facilities were fine. I'd definitely stay again.

Very good value for money. Excellent service from staff. So helpful to have free parking on site and breakfast. Oddly, my room was without electrical power later in the evening of my stay (although the mains lights were working), although it was back in the morning.

I arrived late (post 9 pm) and the staff that welcomed me could not be more helpful (unfortunately I cannot remember his name). He was absolutely amazing. Whatever his salary is, I am sure he is not paid enough :)

A very good stay. The staff are profoundly friendly and helpful. This is a great option for staying in Oxford and free easy parking is brilliant.

Super nice welcome, great location, and small but cosy room, well-heated with nice desk. Clean bathroom and toilets. Would definitely stay again!

Maybe Sunday breakfast does not offer Cooked Breakfast options, otherwise food and service excellent.
