All our guest rooms are on the ground floor, a single & double/twin located in the Farmhouse and six double/twin rooms in the Barn have French doors opening on to a west-facing terrace.
The rooms have views over the open fields, where sheep and lambs graze in the spring and summer months and our little family of Guinea Fowl forage for seeds and insects.
You can sit outside on the terrace and enjoy a cup of tea in the afternoon sunshine, or indeed a glass of wine in the warm summer evenings. There is ample parking directly outside the rooms which makes the accommodation easily accessible for the less able guest.
Situated between Thirsk and Scarborough, Kirkbymoorside is a pleasant town and a good base for exploring the North York Moors National Park, Yorkshire coast and the surrounding area. Just three miles away, the sizeable Ryedale Folk Museum is located in Hutton-le-Hole, with its cluster of buildings giving an insight into the crafts and trades from past times.
Kirkbymoorside itself, while still a working place, retains a charming atmosphere of times gone by, with its partially cobbled main street, its many interesting buildings, and a lovely medieval church.
Plenty of local activities including a superb golf course at Kirkbymoorside (preferential rate available) as well as other championship courses nearby.
