Overview

Winner of Scottish Borders Guest House of the Year, a warm welcome awaits you from Lisa and Steve in their home Caddon View. Set in its own grounds Caddon View is a beautifully decorated Victorian house built in the 1850’s which has a café in our refurbished conservatory showcasing the best of the south of Scotland’s ingredients with a little (lot) of fun along the way. The Sitooterie offers a range of breakfasts, lunches, main meals, teas, coffees and cakes, all inspired by what is fresh local and seasonal. We let the produce do the talking, and there are always freshly made scones and cakes available. We have eight individually decorated and comfortable rooms, an elegant drawing room where the fire is lit when it’s cold, and a breakfast rooms where guests can eat a delicious breakfast, freshly cooked to order from our menu of options. We are situated in Innerleithen, in the Tweed Valley near Peebles and Glentress, in the Scottish Borders, and we hope that you will come and visit the quiet and undiscovered corner of Scotland

Address: 14 Pirn Road, Innerleithen, Scottish Borders, InnerleithenEh446HH, United Kingdom

You can find Caddon View on the eastern (Galashiels) side of Innerleithen; look out for the brown sign on the main road (A72) through the town which points down Horsbrugh Street. You access our car park to the rear of the building, just ten metres down Horsbrugh Street. The A72 goes through Innerleithen and connects us with Peebles (6 miles/10 km) to the west and Galashiels (11 miles/18 km east). If you are coming from Traquair, turn right when you reach the main road. Buses from Edinburgh (service 62X) come through Innerleithen, and take about 1 hour 20 minutes to get here, though the journey is through some beautiful countryside. The hearest station is Galashiels, 12 miles away, and linked b y the 62 service bus. Caddon View has off-street parking for around six vehicles, with security cameras monitoring the car park. Additional parking is available on the street. If you have particular access needs, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to ensure you can park as close to your accommodation as possible.
