History

The Cameo Hotel was originally a Victorian Country House which was converted to a hotel in the 1920's.  In the 1960's and 70's the building was extended to the present layout, retaining most of the original house and all of the beautiful Victorian Walled Garden which is now used for Wedding Receptions and Cameo Afternoon Teas.

Food & beverage

Breakfast is included in the price and is made freshly to order and is served Monday - Friday 6.45am-9.30am and Saturday - Sunday 8.00am-10.00am.

Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner at the Wolsey restaurant where you can sit back eat and drink or sit outside and enjoy the hotel's wide range of food on offer, to be washed down with a local cider, ale or a nice crisp glass of white wine. Lunch is served Monday - Saturday 12.00noon-2.00pm, Sunday lunch from 12.00noon-2.30pm and dinner Monday - Sunday 6.00pm-9.00pm

Where possible the hotel serves locally sourced products from the property's reputable Suffolk suppliers, including succulent sausages and mouth-watering haddock.
