The Kings Arms is a quaint and cosy traditional country pub. We endeavour to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which our customers can comfortably enjoy their stay with us. A continental breakfast is served daily to all guests in the restaurant. In the summertime our large trade garden provides a tranquil environment whilst during the cold winter months our open fire is always an irresistible magnet. Our bar and restaurant serves food daily.
We are located close to the historic town of Colchester, home to the famous Colchester castle, we are also near to the popular Colchester Zoo. The pub is in close proximity to a number of popular wedding venues.
There is a bus stop directly outside of the pub with regular buses that can take you to Colchester or Chelmsford.
There is also a nearby train station in Marks Tey with a direct line to London.
We do not have a 24 hour concierge. Check in is between 14.30 - 20.30.
We welcome well behaved dogs to stay in one of our double deluxe rooms. This is subject to availability and with a surcharge of £10 per night.
