Overview

Manor Farm is a working arable & beef farm, in the quintessential village of Grittleton, offering traditional farmhouse bed & breakfast accommodation 6 miles from Chippenham railway station.

Manor Farm Grittleton has been the home of the Brunt Farming family since 1930. Since 1998 the Bed and Breakfast has offered guests a warm, friendly and comfortable stay in the family home nestled within the Cotswolds.

Easy access from either junction 17 or 18 of the M4. Lively village pub, The Neeld Arms, just a 4 minute walk away, serving food until 9pm. Children’s playground 8 minutes walk through the picturesque village of Grittleton.

There are attractions galore - including iconic Stonehenge, and Avebury. Salisbury Cathedral, Bath Abbey, Lacock, Castle Combe, Longleat, Malmesbury, Bath, Cotswolds, Wiltshire's White Horses, Stourhead, Westonbirt Arboretum and the Kennet & Avon Canal .

Chippenham is the largest town in North Wiltshire. A little over an hour's journey from central London by train or Heathrow airport, it offers an ideal centre for relaxation in rural Wiltshire.

Chippenham’s name originated in Saxon times meaning ‘River Meadow’. Its position in a crook of the River Avon has given it, through the centuries, a strategic position and power for its cloth mills. Today the river provides a peaceful backdrop to walking and cycling routes
