Because guests feel very welcome and comfortable at Midway House we were delighted to be awarded BEST GUEST HOUSE FINALIST for three consecutive years in THE YORK TOURISM AWARDS.
Midway House Bed and Breakfast is a late Victorian Detached Villa built in 1897 and proudly stands on a corner site of Fulford Road which provides excellent PRIVATE CAR PARKING for all our guests.
We are situated very close to YORK UNIVERSITY, YORK SCIENCE PARK, IMPHAL INFANTRY BARRACKS, YORK BARBICAN CENTRE and the SUPERB YORK RACECOURSE. The historic YORK CITY CENTRE with its many attractions such as YORK MINSTER, JORVIK VIKING CENTRE, THE SHAMBLES and NATIONAL RAILWAY MUSEUM can be reached via a lovely riverside walk in approximately 20 minutes or a regular bus service in 5 minutes.
Following a very recent inspection by VisitEngland we have received a breakfast award for quality.
Please note, there is a strict NO-SMOKING policy on the premises.
