The Franklin is a family run guesthouse in the heart of the beautiful spa town of Harrogate. The owner of the guesthouse understand, now more than ever, how important it is to escape from the routines of everyday life and immerse yourself in new surroundings.The Franklin believe Harrogate is both a beautiful and dynamic place to experience. With the guesthouse historic architecture, heritage as a fashionable spa resort, plethora of shopping opportunities, as well as the property's more recent emergence as a centre for the independent food and drink scene Harrogate provides activities to interest all.

History

A family run business that has been established for over 25 years the owners pride themselves on their warm welcome and their ability to exceed their guests expectations. This is both a family run business and the owner's home and the owner want you to be able to relax, knowing everything is taken care of and the only thing you need to do is enjoy!

Food & beverage

It might be an expression older than time but it really is the most important meal of the day. At The Franklin, the owners try to provide something for all tastes and requirements, whether its a sit down cooked Full Yorkshire breakfast or a slightly more healthy granola and berries. Full Yorkshire The world renowned Full English but with a focus on provenance. The Franklin uses some of the finest Yorkshire reared and grown produce to create an outstanding cooked breakfast that will set you up for the day. Great Scot A cooked breakfast like Harrogate has never seen. To celebrate the ancestry of the property's head chef Dan, the owners have added a cooked breakfast from North of the border. Home made Lorne Sausage and Haggis do of course make an appearance. Continental A delightful range of pastries, preserves and breads. Granola Bowls Start the day with a bowl of energy boosting granola. Homemade and topped with beautiful fresh fruit

The Valley Gardens Harrogate are English Heritage Grade II Listed gardens situated in regal Low Harrogate, which along with woodland, are known as The Pinewoods cover 17 acres. The Valley Gardens Harrogate contain a greater number of mineral springs than any other known place
