The pub is ideally situated in the popular Devon tourist town of Dawlish. You will find you are very close to the town centre and the beautiful beach with it's golden sands as well as the railway station, bus station and a taxi rank. All are just within a couple of minutes walk away. There is a strong community vibe in our pretty seaside town and the local park is another popular spot, again within easy walking distance. Here you can relax and see the famous black swans of Dawlish.
Built in 1633, the Railway Inn is one of the oldest pubs in Dawlish and can be found on one of the town's oldest streets. The bar, as well as being very friendly, is also rather quirky and atmospheric.
We have traditional pub games and a wide range of beers and wines.
The Railway welcomes dogs and is family friendly.
During your stay we can offer you a good selection of excellent value food to enjoy in the relaxed atmosphere of our bar.
Breakfast is available on request. Please just let Tracy or Gary know the evening before.
We have five guest rooms, freshly refurbished for your comfort, all with television and tea and coffee making facilities. We pride ourselves on the warm, welcoming atmosphere here at The Railway.
