Historia

Braid Hills Hotel was built in 1886 to accommodate golfers visiting the famous Braid Hills Courses nearby.

Dining in our Allermuir Restaurant is a pleasure. Here you can choose from our excellent table d'hote menu, or from an international a la carte menu which features a number of uniquely Scottish dishes. The magnificent views from our elegantly-appointed restaurant can only enhance the enjoyment of your meal.

The wine list is carefully selected to offer both excellent vintages and more modest bottles, at sensible prices.

A vegetarian menu is also available. Special diets can be catered for.

Situated in the Hotel grounds, the buckstone Bistro is a well known local meeting place. Its has its own Conservatory and Terrace and is renowned for the quality of its fine food and real ales. Your choice to eat in a light and airy setting or alfresco on the patio.

The start of this walk is a short stroll from the hotel.
