This 18th Century building, built by the Nightingale family, is reputed to be the site of Florence Nightingale's first hospice.
Real ale plays an important role in any good country Inn and the Jug and Glass is no exception. There are regular ales on draught, along with additional guest ales, but if that is not your tipple of choice, we also offer wide selection of wines, ciders, soft drinks and spirits, including our scotch corner.
