The Lord Nelson Pub and Accommodation, Bridport

The Lord Nelson is situated in the heart of the town of Bridport and we have a brilliant team of staff to look after you. They are all local to Bridport and therefore know the best places to visit whether in the town browsing the shops or seeking local walks with the dog. The courtyard garden is child and dog friendly and a suntrap in the summer, we even have our own banana tree.

We are a dog friendly pub/hotel and we welcome your dogs both in the pub and in our rooms.

We have three letting rooms named after ships that Nelson sailed on! They are situated on the first floor and accessed via a spiral staircase from the ground floor. Each room has a TV with freeview and independent facilities for tea/coffee/hot chocolate with biscuits. Each bathroom is provided with a bath and shower, along with shower gel, shampoo , soap and towels.Please note that Lion the twin room has its own PRIVATE SEPERATE BATHROOM but is not ENSUITE
Parking is next door to the pub although its a public car park, its free between 6pm and 8am and free on Sundays. Bridport is a busy Market Town which boasts many annual events which welcomes a lot of visitors to the town. These range from Music Festivals, Beer Festivals to Torchlight Processions. Take a look at our website to check what’s happening so you can book early to join the fun. West Bay is a short walk through the fields (perfect dog walking country) which was the prime spot for Broadchurch watchers. The area has a strong music culture and antique emporiums. We have our own Art Deco Theatre called the 'Electric Palace' which has plays, cinema, comedy nights and music from all around the country.
