Christ Church, Oxford

University Residence

Located in the heart of the city, Christ Church is conveniently close to museums, shops and restaurants. If you are visiting Oxford during the Easter (March/April) and Summer (July, August, September) holiday periods, why not stay as guests of the college?

The buildings of architectural and historical interest reflect the differing centuries since the college’s foundation. There are no lifts in any accommodation staircases, with some bedrooms up several flights of stairs, which may make them unsuitable for those with mobility needs. There is a limited number of grounds and first floor rooms, so if you have any access requirements please include the details in the additional information box at the time of booking.

Christ Church offers rooms for single or twin occupancy. Ensuite bedrooms have their own basin, shower and toilet within the room. Standard rooms have their own basin but shared bathroom and toilet facilities. Please note: you may have to go up or down two or three flights of stairs from your bedroom to the nearest facilities.

The college is unable to accept bookings for Stag and Hen groups and can only accommodate adults (aged 18 and over). This includes babies/children sharing a room with adults. If such a booking is made you will be asked to cancel it, the refund amount will be in live with T&Cs or if you arrive at the property you will be refused entry and no refund will be given.

Christ Church College is a beautiful place to stay, the whole experience was fantastic. The room had good views over the meadow and was as good as one would expect for student accommodation. Excellent breakfast, served in the grand surroundings of the dining hall.

Amazing experience staying at Christ Church! Great value for money, you get access to all the building and have an amazing breakfast at the Great Hall (and feel like Harry Potter lol)

Amazing value for money. The room was basic and functional, which was precisely what was required.
