Overview

Located in the heart of the city, Christ Church is conveniently close to museums, shops and restaurants. If you are visiting Oxford during the Easter (March/April) and Summer (July, August, September) holiday periods, why not stay as guests of the college?

The buildings of architectural and historical interest reflect the differing centuries since the college’s foundation. There are no lifts in any accommodation staircases, with some bedrooms up several flights of stairs, which may make them unsuitable for those with mobility needs. There is a limited number of grounds and first floor rooms, so if you have any access requirements please include the details in the additional information box at the time of booking.

Christ Church offers rooms for single or twin occupancy (all guests must be over 18). Ensuite bedrooms have their own basin, shower and toilet within the room. Standard rooms have their own basin but shared bathroom and toilet facilities. Please note: you may have to go up or down two or three flights of stairs from your bedroom to the nearest facilities.

The college is unable to accept bookings for Stag and Hen groups and can only accommodate adults (aged 18 and over). This includes babies/children sharing a room with adults. If such a booking is made you will be asked to cancel it, the refund amount will be in live with T&Cs or if you arrive at the property you will be refused entry and no refund will be given.

Overall, very good experience. Warm welcome from the friendly and professional porters. The room turned out to be a suite which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was terrific and the setting is wonderful. The room was very clean and well equipped with thoughtful touches. My only recommendation is that the mattress be replaced as it was a little too saggy.

It's a wonderful experience staying at traditional Christ Church. We got a lot of good feelings in Oxford University. Especially, the traditional and beautiful hall we ate breakfast was amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff are all incredibly friendly and the college is very beautiful. Breakfast was also very good. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Christ Church.

Very enjoyable as always, but the room on the top floor was a bit of a challenge for an 80 year old.
