Located in the heart of the city, Christ Church is conveniently close to museums, shops and restaurants. If you are visiting Oxford during the Easter (March/April) and Summer (July, August, September) holiday periods, why not stay as guests of the college?
The buildings of architectural and historical interest reflect the differing centuries since the college’s foundation. There are no lifts in any accommodation staircases, with some bedrooms up several flights of stairs, which may make them unsuitable for those with mobility needs. There is a limited number of grounds and first floor rooms, so if you have any access requirements please include the details in the additional information box at the time of booking.
Christ Church offers rooms for single or twin occupancy (all guests must be over 18 no refund if the requirements are not met). Ensuite bedrooms have their own basin, shower and toilet within the room. Standard rooms have their own basin but shared bathroom and toilet facilities. Please note: you may have to go up or down two or three flights of stairs from your bedroom to the nearest facilities.
Christ Church was used as a filming location and inspiration for many of the scenes in the Harry Potter films. The grand staircase and Tudor Great Dining Hall being two of the most iconic spots within the college.
The college is unable to accept bookings for Stag and Hen groups and can only accommodate adults (aged 18 and over). They cannot accommodate babies/children sharing a room with adults. All occupants must be over 18. If such a booking is made you will be asked to cancel it, the refund amount will be in line with T&Cs or if you arrive at the property you will be refused entry and no refund will be given.
