For over 160 years Augill Castle has been renowned for its warm welcoming vibe and this lovely place still retains much of its historic atmosphere. Interesting antiques lurk in every corner and every artifact has a genuine story to tell. There are fourteen uniquely decorated bedroms in the main house, (two of which are ground floor garden rooms), all superbly furnished with big antique beds, soft sofas and unusual additions like an old gramophone, a pew by the loo or even an Indonesian blow pipe. You may even find your room has its own turret. Better still, the kitchen is the beating the heart of the castle; the food is amazing.
