The cottage is smart, rustic, well appointed and just what you need for a quiet break away from it all.
It's an old beamy, 17th century cottage close to the Kennet & Avon Canal. This waterway runs all the way from the Thames at Reading to Bristol and is used by narrow boats which quietly cruise their way through the many locks.
The Cottage can accommodate up to 2 people (it has one double bed) and has much to offer being a private, comfortable space away with its own entrance and parking for one car. It is suitable for all seasons with nearby activities and events all year round.
There are beautiful woodland, bridleway and canal walks with traditional country pubs (for example The Three Tuns at Great Bedwyn); a magnificent farm shop (Cobbs); and fine dining available within easy reach. This is also an ideal hub for keen cyclists and canoeists.
Breakfast is provided, with fresh coffee, teas, yoghurt, muesli and croissants. Our chickens can also supply fresh eggs daily.
