Panoramica

Collingwood College accommodation includes 200 bedrooms with full ensuite facilities: private shower, toilet and hand basin, built-in wardrobe and tea/coffee making facilities. Sixteen of these ensuite rooms are twin occupancy (available July, August, September only) and a further nine are adapted for wheelchair users.

All rooms have bed linen (duvets) and towels provided and the price includes breakfast.

For guests requiring easy access, ground floor ensuite rooms are available on request. Please make a note in the "Additional information" section of the booking form. 

Accommodation is available during University vacations, which are around Easter and throughout July, August and September. Subject to availability.

The rom was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was amazing. They cater for everyone's choice. I would recomend it to anyone and would come again.

Room was capacious, very comfortable beds, lovely fresh towels and toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. Disappointed that there wasn't a bath .

Our trip to Durham was most enjoyable, helped, in no small part, by the staff and accommodation at Collingwood.

On arrival please report to the Reception, which is manned 24 hours per day.

If you are arriving by car the college has around 80 car parking spaces, however, these are used by college staff and other guests - so are subject to availability. A turning circle at the entrance is available for guests' easy access. There is a Park and Ride car park located approximately 5 minutes' walk from the college.

Collingwood College is a 5-minute taxi ride (about £7.50) from Durham Station. All the taxi drivers know the college, so you won't need to give them directions. Alternatively, if you're carrying light luggage, the walk from the station through town is picturesque and will take about 30 minutes.
