Craigholme is a small , friendly Bed and Breakfast owned by Jackie and Steve Barton .Having had ten years experience at Ravenscroft, which was an multi award winning Bed and breakfast in Windermere, they have now relocated to Craigholme.
The whole house has been renovated into a peaceful haven of softly muted colours with gently toning fabrics all from Laura Ashley. Jackie and Steve pride themselves for the warm welcome they give their guests. Without being intrusive their wish is that people leave refreshed and relaxed after their stay.
The property is situated a couple of minutes walk from the top of Bowness.Lake Windermere is a five minute walk away where you can find activities to keep yourself busy throughout the day or just take in the scenery.
There are many bars and restaurants nearby and Jackie and Steve are only too happy to advise you where to go to enjoy yourselves.
The rooms ,all recently refurbished, are stylish and restful.The beds are comfortable and the bedding is lovely and cosy using feather and duck down duvets and pillows...a struggle to get out of in the morning !!!
Breakfast is served in the Dining Room offering a selection of Full English Breakfast or something lighter such as Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Egg or Pancakes with Greek Yoghurt,Fruit and Honey. Vegeterians are happily catered for and any special requirements but a bit of notice is appreciated.
Sadly we do not have any parking facilities.Parking is available on the road outside the property.
