The fish themselves are hand reared in the fishery’s own hatchery, ensuring they are fit, healthy and acclimatised to the local water. The fishing suits a range of anglers from expert level right through to beginners including kids and families. The fishery will endeavour to help all its customers have a unique experience in learning or improving fishing skills, and ensuring they have the most tranquil stay. The cottage sleeps 8 and is located on site just a short walk from the fishing lake. The friendly owners welcome families, groups, corporate team building events, and there are facilities for those with disabilities.
Rectory Lodge offers equipment hire, tackle & bait shop on site, complimentary tea & coffee, lakeside seating, tuck shop, and accommodation on site. The team will work with prospective group customers for group events such as school outings, team building, private angling club away days, competitions, parties and other functions.

At Rectory Lodge Trout Fishery everyone can take time out to relax and enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere. The fishery welcomes all ages, genders, and nationalities, health and safety is highly regarded and disabled access is to a high standard.
It is comprised of two lakes, one fly and one bait, both lakes are restocked weekly with rainbow trout which are reared on site. Rectory Lodge is suitable for both amateur and professional Anglers.
