All four of our tastefully renovated bedrooms provide unrivalled views of the beautiful River Bure and Coltishall Common, where visitors can relax and unwind by the water’s edge, watching the wildlife and boats as they pass.
A contender for one of the most picturesque spots throughout Broadland, Coltishall Common is bounded by attractive properties on one side and acres of stunning marshland on the other, while we are lucky to have numerous walks and cycle routes on our doorstep. Circular walks vary from 20 minutes to a whole day spent in glorious countryside, with the option of a canoe trip or narrow-gauge steam railway ride, if you prefer. Be sure to look out for the resident kingfishers, otters, heron and deer en route, as well as the Swallowtail butterfly.
Inside the pub we have ample space for drinking and dining, with a log fire to keep things cosy during the winter, while the outside features a large patio area with plenty of seating from which to relax and enjoy the river views.
