历史

Dating back to 1274 it has had various uses from being a smuggler retreat to a quaint manor house to one of the Bailiffs of Guernsey. It was used during the occupation by the Germans as a hospital.

The Restaurant is well known for its high standards and excellent cuisine. It features a varied Table d'Hote Menu covering a variety of English and Continental dishes. For guests on bed and breakfast terms or for that special occasion, offering a comprehensive Á La Carte featuring local Fresh Seafood and Flambé Specialities. An extensive wine list is available.

The Bar is situated on the ground floor and is of immense character with its "Olde Worlde" beams and original Date Stone displaying '1723'. Drinks are served throughout the day and evening and a comprehensive Bar Lunch Menu is available daily. As the bar is open to the public, guests are able to meet and chat with the "locals" in a most convivial atmosphere.

The swimming pool is situated in a sheltered sunny corner of the gardens. Sun-beds are provided and refreshments are served throughout the day when weather permits. The hotel is in an ideal position for a perfect holiday. It is within easy reach of the three most beautiful south bays of Moulin Huet, Petit Port and Saints.
