Legends of the entertainment industry, including Laurel and Hardy (on their 1947 theatre tour), Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, George Formby and Tommy Cooper have resided here, following their appearances in Dudley Opera House (now known as the Hippodrome) – inspiration for 2 of our new "Apart-hotels".
We are also known as one of the most haunted hotels in the UK, with our feature on the Most Haunted TV Series in 2003 with the late medium Derek Acorah and Yvette Fielding.
