Hughes Hall is the oldest of the University of Cambridge's postgraduate colleges and is housed in a number of 19th and 20th-century buildings at the main site immediately adjacent to the University of Cambridge's Cricket ground.

Located next to the iconic Parkers Piece, Hughes Hall is a 10-minute walk from the railway station and 10 minutes walk from the centre of Cambridge. The college acts as an oasis of calm in the middle of the city, with the river Cam just 5 minutes away should you want to try your hand at punting.

The single en-suite accommodation is located in the Fenner's Building and the small double rooms are located in Gresham Court.

Départ : 06:00 (6:00) - 10:00 (10:00)

Comfortable for an off-term stay. Everything worked well, from check-in to checkout., However the amenities in kictchen are a bit sparse for oven or microwave cooking. Same for dishes and cutlery provided. Did not receive instructions for how to use the dining facility.

A very nice experience to stay in a college. Very well maintained and clean. Super friendly porters. Many nice restaurants on the street nearby. To consider when you are not the smallest person: the double bed is only 1.40m wide and has a pretty soft mattress.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable; the fan was needed due to the hot weather The grounds were gorgeous and the location perfect, especially because we could park on site. Thank you

We had a lovely overnight stay at Hughes Hall. The Lady Porter who we met on arrival could not have been more helpful. Comfortable room; good shower and a great, central location for exploring. I would definitely stay there again!

The mattress has seen better days but the room was spotless and lovely and cool. The porters were great, v cheerful and helpful.

Guests are invited to check in at the Porter's Lodge, which is located at the entrance of the College. Please show your booking confirmation and your passport to the Porter, who will provide you with your room key and direct you to the room.

The College Porters' duties do not involve handling luggage.

On departure please take your key to the Porter's Lodge. The College Porters will look after your luggage until your departure from Cambridge.

The Lodge is manned 24 hours 7 days a week.

Directions:

By Car: Hughes Hall offers parking on-site, depending on availability. The cost is £10.00 per car per night. In case the College car park is full, the closest car park is the Queen Anne Terrace Car Park, which is located a 2-minute walk to Hughes Hall. Please see https://www.cambridge.gov.uk/queen-anne-terrace-car-park for details of payment.

By Train: The railway station is approximately a 10-minute walk or 5-minute taxi ride from the College. Taxis are available outside the station entrance and are able to drop off at the Porter's Lodge.

By Air: London Stansted Airport is less than 45 minutes drive, whilst London City and London Heathrow Airports can be reached in less than 90 minutes.
