There are many activities and places of interest to visit for non-anglers, including whale watching, Dettifoss waterfall, Lake Mývatn, horse riding, and river rafting. The package is self-guided and self-catering, and does not include flights to Iceland or transfers. The nearest airport is Akureyri, around 40 minutes drive away, with daily flights to/from Reykjavik. The lodge is approximately 280 miles from Reykjavik, 6 hours drive, if guests prefer to drive directly from the capital. The Árbót beat and Vörðuholt lodge are sold in a minimum of 4-day slots. The entire beat and lodge are always sold together so guests have the whole area and never have to share with another group.
Guests will fish the afternoon slot on the day of arrival, full days on day 2, 3 and 4, and then the morning slot on the day of departure.
