Histoire

The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield is housed in a historic 15th-century coaching inn, making it one of the oldest documented buildings in Beaconsfield. Originally serving as a stopover for travellers and their horses, the property has seen centuries of history, evolving from a humble inn to a luxurious boutique hotel.

The hotel still includes orginal beams and structure of the once coaching inn.

The two restaurants on site are anything but traditional. What better hub than the outdoor poolside oasi, to eat, drink and relax. A place to connect and engage, sip on theatrical cocktails, enjoy a poolside appetiser or a refreshing dip in a convivial locale.

The relaxed Tudor-beamed Thai restaurant has been wowing guests with authentic regional recipes handed-down through generations. From fiery green curries, sticky Gloucestershire pork ribs, or miso marinated black cod, you’ll find outstanding dishes that bring the taste Bangkok’s Yaowarat Road to the streets of Buckinghamshire.

The English combines traditional and modern British cuisine features originality and provenance including seasonal dishes, that brings Crazy Bear classics alongside more contemporary dishes from around the globe. The grass-fed Black Angus 1000g Tomahawk steak, cooked over live fire on the Josper; an undeniable crowd pleaser.

Be impressed with the Sunday lunch, the Crazy Bear Sunday meats are another level. Their ver popular Sunday Lunch is served in the English restaurant every Sunday from midday until 5pm.

A Crazy Bear Afternoon Tea is a traditional 3-tier affair to be enjoyed from 12pm to 4pm daily, Served in the Moroccan Lounge or English Restaurant, each tier offers delectable classics including clotted cream scones, petit fours and their signature tear drop sandwiches.
