A beautiful 16th century inn nestled in wonderful countryside on the edge of the beautiful Romney Marshes. The Woolpack is in the idyllic village of Warehorne, opposite St Matthew’s church and surrounded by grazing Romney Marsh sheep.
The Woolpack pays a warm welcome to locals seeking great food, drink and company and visitors can stay overnight in one of our five beautiful, comfortable rooms; Frederick, Josephine, Honeychild, Niddy or Noddy.
This is a 16th century inn packed with quirky, charming features. Our cosy and characterful guest rooms are set above the restaurant and bar. While we do our utmost to ensure the maximum level of comfort for our guests we cannot completely rule out noise from the bar occasionally travelling to the rooms.
All just over half an hour by train from London, 15 minutes from the Kent Coast, Ashford and Canterbury and just a little bit longer by Eurostar into Paris.
This is a 16th century building with relatively steep and winding stairways. For this reason, we wouldn’t recommend rooms at The Woolpack Inn for guests with limited mobility.
