The Shrubbery is a Victorian town house with many original features. Situated in the popular Barbourne area of the city, we are close to many local amenities including pubs and eateries, easy transport links, and a pleasant variety of shopping outlets.
The Shrubbery is a family-run B&B within walking distance of Worcester City Centre. We offer clean, comfortable rooms, full English breakfast, and free WiFi. All rooms have flat screen TVs with DVD, hospitality trays, and complimentary toiletries.
We try to provide the facilities and amenities that travellers while trying to maintain a homely atmosphere.

We aim to provide the best service we can at these times. To this effect
- The Shrubbery is not suitable for quarantining or self-isolating guests
- All rooms are thoroughly sanitised
- Breakfast menu is more limited and orders are taken in advance. Please discuss special diets with us.
- Numbers in the dining room are limited and breakfast is served strictly by appointment
- We reserve the right to refuse access to customers that are unfit or unwell
- Hand sanitiser is available and its use is encouraged
- We have removed superfluous decorations eg bed runners from rooms for your confidence and safety
- In accordance with local legislation it may be necessary to cancel your booking at short notice if closure is mandated for non-essential guests. You will not be charged for your stay if this happens, and we are not liable for any further costs resulting from this. We will make up to a maximum of 5 attempts to contact you before you travel if this happens, so please provide contact details that are effective while travelling, eg a mobile rather than landline number.
