The Edgcumbe Hotel is in an enviable elevated position where coast meets countryside. Nestled between not one but two amazing popular surf beaches, on the edge of the coast path, and a stones throw from the town centre with it’s mix of independen Artisan shops. The outside may be classic Victorian, but on the inside our rooms have more of a Nordic influenced feel with modern clean lines, stylish natural simplicity, and functionality. A great space of calm and comfort to unwind from the chaos of todays busy lifestyle. All rooms have modern En Suite Shower rooms with toiletries and big fluffy towels.
Our rooms have extra mod cons like refrigerators & USB plug points. All room have hospitality tray with fresh milk and the sea view rooms have an added touch of luxury of a coffee Pod machines.
In contrast the ground level hosts our colourful and vibrant DECK restaurant. From 4pm the DECK Bar and Grill becomes a hive of activity for families, friends and locals to come together for fab food.
Bude has so much to offer, from History & Geology, to Arts & Crafts and outdoor activities such as surfing, kayaking, paddleboardin, of course for the less extreme, there is more serene activites such as hiking and naturewatching. We have easy access to the Atlantic highway, the A39 so you can easily explore up and down the County if you want to explore further afield.
