The beat sits within the Traquair Estate and has 15 named pools with 2 miles of double bank and 1 mile of single bank fishing. The fishing is varied with long pools and glides, but also some nice faster water that will hold fish.
Plenty of fish (coloured from what I saw), but none were taking. As usual, should have been there the day before when 6 were caught. Rufus is a very helpful ghillie. Since the meeting point is a car park and there are few facilities available, I think the pricing is a bit high. 匿名

A good fishery, and a perfect ghillie. Before Traquair, i was six days in Lower Pavilion, and i have the same quality. Jean-PierreT
