Larkfield Priory Hotel, Maidstone

历史

The hotel was built in the mid-nineteenth century on a parcel of land known as Larkfield farm. It was the home of the Reverend William Lewis Wigan and his family, who remained there until 1933 after his death in 1876. The original Larkfield House was totally destroyed by fire in 1890 but rebuilt to what it is today. The property has changed hands many times over the years since then and extended to become the Larkfield Priory Hotel. It is believed that there is a ghost in the hotel, identified as Charlotte, a servant girl, and this has created much interest in the history of the locality.

Breakfast is served 7.30am - 9.30am and consists of a full English or a continental option including a selection of teas, coffee and juices. 

The hotel also offers lunch and dinner at an additional cost.
