Quicksilver Mail, Yeovil

The Quicksilver Mail pub is situated in Yeovil, Somerset.
We really are a "proper pub" as one of our customers puts it. We are in fact the only pub in the country named The Quicksilver Mail, which makes us pretty unique!
We are open all day everyday for drinks and great home cooked food. During the week our food is served from 12pm till 2pm at lunchtimes & in the evening from 6pm until 8.30pm. On Sundays, we serve our famous roasts from 12noon till 8pm bookings are essential as we are very popular for our home made meals and desserts.
Our "Grumpy Landlord" Pete Lambden took over The Quicksilver Mail in 2002 & in those 21 years he has transformed the whole place. We have some fantastic real ales, lagers and ciders, as well as an entry in the "Good Beer Guide 2023" - the 13th year in a row that The Quickie has appeared in the Beer drinkers Bible.
Our wonderful home cooked food is complimented by a selection of reasonably priced wines. We also have on sale a selection of coffees in the form of lattes, mochas and cappuccinos. Have a look around our website and see what we have to offer. We haven't even mentioned our fabulous dessert menu! our menus can be viewed on our website. Please note we do not serve breakfast.
We have some fabulous music here at The Quicksilver Mail from local rock cover bands to internationally acclaimed musicians. Our function room can accommodate up to 200 people and is available for hire for parties, weddings, conferences, meetings, etc; in fact, any kind of get together can be catered for.
We have FREE WiFi.
Our 3 en-suite rooms are situated on the first floor which is up one flight of stairs please note we do not have a lift to the rooms and they can only be accessed by the stair case.
