Der Beat hat elf benannte Pools: Bridge Pool, Shanks, Smiddy, Boat Pool, Mouth of Fiddich, Tail of Fiddich, Heathery Isle, Upper Dips, Lower Dips, Red Craig und Ladies Haugh
Die Gegend ist wunderschön und der Fluss lässt sich gut mit der Fliege erkunden.
Am Red Craig Pool gibt es auch eine schöne Fischerhütte.
Nördlich von Craigallachie gelegen, bietet dieser Abschnitt Angelmöglichkeiten am linken Ufer für vier Ruten. Er verläuft entlang der berühmten Telford Bridge flussabwärts und endet unterhalb von Arndilly. Leichtes Waten und eine tolle Hütte mit Jagdgehilfen.

What is remarkable about the majority of fish caught on the Easter Elchies beat, is that the fish are nearly all fresh, and potentially sea liced for most of the season. The pools vary from slow and gravel lined through to rapid necks and tails. There are also a number of excellent holding pools which can provide significant numbers of salmon throughout the season.
