Pourquoi tu dois pêcher ici
The Easter Elchies (west/left bank) salmon beats on the River Spey are simply magnificent. With easy access, wonderful facilities, and an experienced and professional ghillies there for your convenience, you will find yourself gently wading down quintessential Spey pools with a chance of a fish in almost all conditions.
Surrounded by Speyside terrain, ancient stands of trees, ubiquitous distilleries and only 2 miles drive downstream from Aberlour, the beats stretches for 1.5 miles on the Easter Elchies side from the Craigellachie Bridge down to the march with Arndilly.
What is remarkable about the majority of fish caught on the Easter Elchies beat, is that the fish are nearly all fresh, and potentially sea liced for most of the season. The pools vary from slow and gravel lined through to rapid necks and tails. There are also a number of excellent holding pools which can provide significant numbers of salmon throughout the season.
