King's College London was founded by King George IV and the Duke of Wellington (then Prime Minister) in 1829 as a university college in the tradition of the Church of England. It now welcomes staff and students of all faiths and beliefs. King's professors played a major part in nineteenth-century science, and in extending higher education to women, working men and through evening classes.
Self-catering for individuals is permitted in the shared kitchen, but guests must provide their own crockery, cutlery and utensils as these are not supplied.
A continental breakfast is included in the price of the room (Unless otherwise stated on the room type title booked, please note that some rooms are offered as Room only). This is served in the Breakfast room on the ground floor from 7.30am to 10.00am
Continental Breakfast consists of a selection of cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, croissants & pastries, ham & cheese, hard-boiled eggs, toast & jam, orange, apple & cranberry juice, tea & coffee.
Borough Market is a short walk from the residence and offers a mouth-watering variety of fresh and cooked food, along with a fine variety of restaurants and bars.
WiFi internet access is available free of charge.
Luggage may be left (subject to availability) for a few hours at the reception at the guest's own risk on the day of check-in / check-out.
All good, the place seemed well run and the room was basic but very clean and comfortable. Slightly on the warm side but it was quite warm weather and I was able to leave the window open as it was three floors up. It was a good value place to stay, thank you to all the staff. 匿名

Directions: Upon exiting Borough Station walk along Great Dover Street heading south and you will eventually reach the residence on the left-hand side.
By Car: Unfortunately, the property does not offer parking. Please note that central London operates a Congestion Charge zone between the hours of 7am-6.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays. The current daily charge when entering the zone is £11.50, to find out more and how to pay please visit the following website www.cclondon.com
By Tube: Borough (Northern Line) is the nearest tube station. You can pick up the Borough line from London Bridge (Northern and Jubilee lines). A taxi should cost under £10 from Borough station to the residence.
By Rail: London Bridge station with services to South London and Kent.
By Bus: Excellent bus services to all areas of London. The number 21 service travels north through Great Dover St to the City, Shoreditch and Newington Green and south to Lewisham. Other services are accessible from the end of the road to many parts of the city. Other Buses: C10 - Victoria Station/Canada Water, 35 - Shoreditch/Battersea, 1 - Oxford St/Canada Water, 168 - Camden/Old Kent Road, 40 - Dulwich/Whitechapel, 133 - Liverpool St/ Streatham.
