历史

St George's College has a rich and proud history. After Western Australia gain self-government in 1890, Sir Winthrop Hackett, Archbishop Riley and Sir John Forrest worked to establish a university in Perth, which would become the University of Western Australia. Sir Hackett left funds to establish an associated college in the Oxbridge style. This marked the genisis of St George's College which opened in 1931.

Continental breakfast is included in room tariffs. Lunch and Dinner is also available with purchase of vouchers from the office during business hours or contact the college to pre-purchase vouchers. Meals are served cafeteria style from the servery.  Lunch and Dinner not available over Christmas & New Year's period.

The college is surrounded by beautiful gardens and features a rose garden in the front lawn. The central Quadrangle with its ivy covered walls and manicured lawns are reminisce of another era. Both the Swan River and King's Park are a short walk away and the very instagram worthy Blue Boat House is only a 5 min walk away.

WIFI available.  Onsite laundry with washing machines and dryers available.  Rooms are serviced every 3 days.
