The student hall Bodenkultur, in short Boku hall, is situated in the cottage neighbourhood of Vienna, in the 18th district, and was opened in 1993.

Although it only takes you 7 minutes by bike to the university for Agriculture and Forestry, the student residence is already in the “green area” of Vienna.

The accommodation offers standard single and double rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Also available is a common room, a reading and TV room, high speed Internet access, public pay telephones, music room, sports hall, balcony (each room), bicycle parking facilities, car parking spaces, Satellite TV and 4 shared kitchens.

The heater in the room was not turned on on the first day and it was a cold evening. Accordingly I informed the person at the desk and from the second day on, it has worked very well. Additionally, the student helper (Journal-Dienst) Peter was really friendly and helpful. I appreciate his kindnes...

Great situation, end of the 41 tram line so transport very good. In a lovely leafy suburb near a park. Bit of a climb up to the building but ok if you can carry your suitcase. Pleasant helpful staff. Cooking facilities if you want to keep costs down. I'd definitely stay there again.

Liked the location of Bokuheim, close to the city centre and exceeded our expectation for a budget accommodation. Very helpful reception staff. I will definatly return and use again Bokuheim and recommend it to my world.

From Railway Station Vienna West: Take the underground U6 and exit at "Waehringer Strasse“ (Volksoper), take the tram 41 and exit at station "Poetzleinsdorf" (terminal station).

From Railway Station Vienna Meidling, new Central Station:

Take the underground U6 and exit at „Waehringer Strasse“ (Volksoper), take the tram 41 and exit at station "Poetzleinsdorf" (terminal station).

From the airport Vienna Schwechat: The easiest way is to book a "Vienna-Airport Taxi" in advance (approx. €30). Otherwise take the airport bus to the Railway station Vienna West. Take the underground U6 and exit at „Waehringer Strasse“ (Volksoper), take the tram 41 and exit at station "Poetzleinsdorf" (terminal station).

By car: Access is available via "Starkfriedgasse 15" only (entrance for busses with a maximum height of 3.20m)
