Absolutely beautiful hotel set on the bank of the river Ouse just a stone's throw away from York centre. We booked a 3 night stay in a smart studio with a river view and balcony. As a blue badge holder I had access to the free underground parking where a lift took us directly to reception. Your room card is activated for use of the garage door or alternatively if you do not require the lift there is a small car park to the rear for about 10 cars and access to reception from the rear entrance (stairs access only). We were greeted by a lovely reception area that houses the cafe, workstations, reception desk and breakfast hub. The check in was really straightforward, the reception team were all very friendly and helpful. The only downside to this hotel experience is the lack of accessibility ramps to the reception floor. If only someone had thought of that when it was built in 2019 this would make it my perfect hotel. There is nothing more unflattering than watching me and my crutch try to traverse stairs, it doesn't work well and I looked odd opening the garage door without a car so I could use the lift! Anon

House keeping is top level, the room was so clean and tidy that it felt like you were the first person in it. There is no dining on site but they do provide a basic breakfast. Depending on which side of the hotel your room is you will either get views of the river or a caravan site. Anon

Beautiful rooms just a 5 minute drive from the station and 15 minute walk to Betty's or 10 to tesco express. Free on site parking with grab and go breakfast and outside seating. Friendly and helpful staff at check in and lots of amenities in the rooms. We visited for a hen party and several ladies noted that they would book here again, it's tucked away in the trees overlooking the river so you'd never know it was there! Anon

Very good situated near the city centre. I booked (and paid for)a room with view to the river. In summertime completely blocked by the élavés of the trees :) Anon
