Casa Billi ligger i hjertet av Firenze og gir deg muligheten til å organisere turen på den beste måten. Historie

The building has been detected in the first half of the '50s by Billi family and has been immediately used as a guest accommodation; during the years it has been changed and improved but the hospitality has retained its high standard.

During the several renovations, many objects has been found which tell the history of “Casa Billi”, such as old business cards, an old English shaving kit from 1959, a family coat of arms on canvas proudly preserved and a “Royal Decree” for guesthouses, which is even older than the other objects.

Given their size, some of the headboards are used today as pictures.

Casa Billi does not have a breakfast service included in the price, but the staff will be glad to recommend nearby places to guests. Also, thanks to its location, Casa Billi offers the possibility to experience the typical food of Florence and Tuscany, and the famous Chianti wines. Just a few steps away you will find San Lorenzo Market and the best of Florence’s restaurants.

Casa Billi does not have a proper luggage storage service, but a corner of the house is reserved for this free service. Free Internet access is available via Wi-Fi or Internet access points in the rooms and in the common areas.

How to find us

By car: From the highway A1, from South, exit at Firenze Sud and follow the directions for the urban centre and the Central Station Santa Maria Novella.

From the highway A1, from Nord, exit at Firenze Nord and follow the directions for the urban centre and the Central Station Santa Maria Novella.

From Siena, with the Chianti highway, exit at the end (Firenze-Certosa toll) and follow the directions to the station.

From Pisa-Livorno, with the FI-PI-LI highway, follow the direction to the station. We suggest you to park your car in the carparks near Casa Billi.

By train: 3 minutes' walk from the central Station of Santa Maria Novella: from the station take Via Nazionale and turn at the first crossroads of the right, Via Faenza, and continue until the number 12 black, close to the crossroads with Via S. Antonio.

By plane: from Pisa Airport, take the train (every hour) to Florence Santa Maria Novella Central Station (just 50 minutes).

From Florence Perentola Airport: by taxi (€20) or by bus to the city centre (€1.50) in just 15-20 minutes.

Please note that tourists over 12 years old visiting the city of Florence will be requested to pay a Tourist Tax of €4.00 per person per night, for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights. This tax is not included in the price of the room and must be paid directly at reception upon arrival.
