Historie

The Havelock was built in the 1860s as a gentleman's residence and was extended in the 1960s to offer additional accommodation.

Breakfast is served 7.00am - 8.30am  and consists of a Full English breakfast, also available are, cereals, fresh fruit salad, grapefruit, prunes, greek yoghurt, fruit juices, croissants, fresh bread, homemade jams and marmalades, unlimited tea, coffee & toast.

Vegetarian and gluten-free diets can also be catered for by prior arrangement, all the property's eggs are free-range.

Snacks are available at additional cost from 12.00pm to 5.00pm and include ploughman's lunches, toasted sandwiches and fresh homemade sandwiches.

Many local restaurants and pubs available within a couple of minutes walk away in Shanklin Old Village or on Shanklin seafront.

Enjoy the award-winning gardens at the front of the property with a terrace and seating, where you can sit and watch the ships pass by. There is decking with seating at the rear with a heated swimming pool.

For guests arriving prior to the property's 2pm check-in time, there is the facility to securely store luggage and a key safe is available for late arrivals.
