We would like to welcome all past and future customers to The Wheatsheaf. We have been running the business since 2009, making many improvements along the way. We have a fantastic reputation for our locally sourced, freshly prepared food, and cater for vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free diets. Our children's menu is also freshly prepared using the best ingredients. We provide freshly ground Barista style coffee, and stock a varied selection of cask ales, premium spirits and soft drinks.
The Wheatsheaf, Ingleton is steeped in history stretching as far back as the 17th Century. This Coaching Inn was extended in the 1800s to include a Blacksmiths shop and stables, which we now use as our dining room. One of our rooms upstairs was used as a court house to the Ewercross district. This is where the J.P.s met to renew the licenses for many of the Inns in the area.
The Wheatsheaf has an 80 cover restaurant which is split between the dining room and conservatory. The dining room is spacious and comfortable and can cater for 45 people in one sitting. Just off from the dining room is access to the conservatory where a further 35 diners can be seated.
The conservatory is popular with group bookings as the doors can be closed to make it a private dining area for those special occasions or family reunions.
