Welcome to The Whittington & Cat, whether you eat, drink or sleep with us we pride ourselves on giving a home from home friendly experience. We offer 9 en-suite rooms and 1 luxury apartment.
Located a short walk from Hull’s Train’s Station, we are in the heart of the city surrounded by most of the city’s best entertainment venues, from Hull Bonus Area, Ice Arena, The MKM Stadium, Hull New Theatre, Hull City Hall and the Marina.
Whether you are visiting for business or pleasure we have so much in the area for you to enjoy and explore. Since Hull was awarded the ‘City of Culture’ back in 2017 the city received a much needed £220m investment which has greatly improved and developed our lovely little city.
In the aftermath of City of Culture, we are now a fantastic home of the arts, theatre performances, award winning museums, sporting teams, casino and concerts. We are now a place boasting many fantastic places to eat and drink, we are always happy to recommend our favourites for you.
Please note we are a Dog Friendly Bar, be warned staff will fuss over your dogs all night!
The Whittington & Cat Bar is open Monday – Thursday from 5pm till 9pm, Friday from 4pm until 11pm, Saturdays from 12pm until 12am and Sundays 12pm until 9pm. Please note this is reflected in our checking times too, as the check in is via the Bar, we are able to arrange earlier check in’s upon request.
Our bar offers premium beers, selections of spirits and wines along with homemade food. The full menu is available to view on our Facebook page.
Please note, during the Bar's closed hours the building is unmanned, we do not offer a 24hr reception. However we do have a member of our team on call 24/7 if you ever need assistance during your stay.
