Welcome to The Westmorland Inn
We are a traditional Lakeland Inn and we are ideally situated in between Windermere and Bowness village with only a few minutes walk to either and less than 5 minutes walk to Lake Windermere.
We are pleased to offer 8 ensuite bedrooms all individually designed with two of these being larger double size rooms. Some of our rooms offer a view of Lake Windermere and across to the fells and mountains. We only use luxury toiletries in all our rooms and tea and coffee making facilities for you to enjoy.
In our cosy comfortable bar we have up to 3 real ales, premium lagers, wines, spirits, an excellent selection of Gins and a good selection of cocktails, we have a good local choice of drinks including some real ales from the Marstons brewery, and a selection of spirits including Whiskey, Gin and Vodka.
We have a recently refurbished dining room on the lower-ground floor offering a contemporary menu every weekend, and a full Sunday Roast served every Sunday from Lunch time (12 noon).
We serve food Friday-Saturday 5 till 9pm and all day Sunday (12 noon till 7pm).
We also have a mezzanine level overlooking the dining room with comfy settees and chairs to enjoy a drink either before and after your meal or just to relax at anytime.
We are excellently placed for all the amenities and attractions that the Lake District national park has to offer and in fact we are actually within walking distance to many of them.
All of our rooms are dog-friendly, there is just an extra 15 GBP charge to pay on arrival.
